ASouthwest Airlinesflight was forced to take evasive action to avoid crashing into another Southwest plane atNashvilleInternational Airport.
According to the airline, Southwest Flight 507 was executing a precautionary go-round due to windy conditions while attempting to land inTennesseethis weekend.

It was forced to take evasive action to avoid Southwest Flight 1152 which was taking off from BNA on its way toKnoxville. Both flights eventually completed their journeys safely.
“We are engaged with the FAA as part of the investigation. Southwest appreciates the professionalism of its Pilots and Flight Crews in responding to the event. Nothing is more important to Southwest than the Safety of our Customers and Employees,” the airline said in a statement.
